Los Angeles based research facility seeks motivated, hardworking individual to fill a temporary to permanent position in the animal care facility.

Job Title:  Animal Care

Duties:  Provide sanitization support for animal caging systems.  Operate machinery necessary to complete sanitization process.  Communicate with cage wash team and management team.  Emphasis is placed on health and welfare of the animals.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Written and oral English communication skills at the high school graduation level.  Experience working in a research environment and AALAS Certification is preferred.  Weekend and holiday may be required. No known rodent allergies.

Skills and Abilities:  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; frequent bending, reaching, lifting and pushing.  Ability to understand verbal and written English instructions. 

Hours and Benefits:  40 hours per week.  Benefits available upon permanent placement.
